File Extension BBM Description:

Deluxe Paint is a digital image editor used to create graphic images. The program creates images, which are made up of bits of information arranged on the map. The original developer was Dan Silva who wrote the program for Electronic Arts. The first released version of the software was created for the Commodore Amiga line of computers. The program was later revised so that it could be used with other operating systems. However the software only gained popularity with the Amiga computers. The other versions of the program that was created for other operating systems did not gain the same status.

Deluxe Paint was based on a program called Prism, which was used by Electronic Arts to create video games. The software was used to create games for Amiga computers as well as demos, which are used by groups to compete to show their computer skills. Lucasarts used the PC version of the program to create the adventure game Monkey Island.

The software was developed in line with the capabilities of Amiga chipsets. This structure allows the graphic editors for Amiga to create images that use bits arranged in a map with binary data such as bitmaps and bitplanes. Images created by the Deluxe Paint program are given the default file extension BBM. Using cycling colors can also use deluxe Paint to create animated images. This is possible because the pixels stored in images created by the program do not contain colors. Files with the file extension .bbm contain pixels, which make up an image. Each pixel located in a file with the BBM file extension contains a link to a separate color palette. This means that any changes made to an existing color palette file changes all the pixels of color in a file with the BBM file extension.

The BBM file extension is also used as a resource file for the BDBZM program. The program is used to connect files. It was developed by the group project BDBZM. It is a Japanese language program that does not support any other language for its user interface. The program uses files with the .bbm file extension to complete processes and tasks. These files store program script and other data needed by the program.
